Karen Appleton is a Paralegal in the Residential Conveyancing department, based in the Ely office. Karen specialises in residential property and can help clients through the process of buying property, selling property, transferring equity, and remortgages. Karen works with a range of clients of all ages who are looking to buy or sell property.
Karen particularly enjoys interacting with her clients and knowing that she has done her best for them, she also enjoys carrying out legal research. Karen’s clients can expect to be reassured that they have someone who is doing their best to make the process less stressful for them and who makes herself available to allay any fears they may have.
Karen has always had an interest in the legal profession and, deciding to pursue her interest, she sent in her CV, asking if there were any vacancies. Karen initially worked as a Legal Secretary and is now working towards a Paralegal qualification. Karen is hoping to build on this qualification in the future.
Outside work, Karen enjoys taking long walks with her cockapoo, Rufus. She also loves reading and always has a book on the go. Karen has recently taken up knitting, something she never thought she would be doing, her first project was a scarf and she is looking forward to her next project.
