Fraser Dawbarns LLP appoints new partner and senior partner

Fraser Dawbarns is very pleased to announce the appointment of a new partner and senior partner at the Firm this Spring.

Kim Neal progressed to partner in May after joining the firm in 2020.

Her specialist areas of legal expertise are Wills, LPAs, Estate Planning and Estate Administration.  Kim is an Affiliate Member of STEP, the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, and holds their Advanced Certificate in Administration of Estates.

Kim says, “I’m excited about the opportunities that this new role brings and am very much looking forward to championing the firm’s local organic expansion in conjunction with Helen and our other March-based colleagues.”

As a partner in the firm who both lives and works in March, Kim is committed to the ongoing expansion of Fraser Dawbarns’ client base within the town.

Iain also praises the commitment of Tony Barratt, who has been appointed as Senior Partner following the well-deserved retirement of Deborah Allen. He says Tony was the perfect candidate for the role. “Tony has been with the firm in its various guises since 1984,” he says, “and no one is more committed to the continuing success and growth of the firm than he is. He is highly respected within the firm and in the local business community and has all the right attributes for this region-wide role.”

Tony specialises in private client law, advising individuals and families on Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Estate Planning and Estate Administration.

Tony says: “I’m delighted to take over this role.  Fraser Dawbarns is a thriving law firm which continues to demonstrate that people locally have no need to travel to the region’s cities to get the legal advice they need, and we look forward to continuing our success and organic expansion.

When Tony is not providing sound legal advice at our Downham Market office, Tony enjoys spending holidays along the West Coast of Ireland.  He has a love of dogs and enjoys looking after a very excitable Labrador called Hinch.

The firm now has ten partners and 124 employees across the region, based in offices in March, Wisbech, Ely, King’s Lynn and Downham Market.
