£110,000 obtained for a man from West Norfolk who suffered an injury at work

Fraser Dawbarns’ lead personal injury specialist Neil John has succeeded in obtaining £110,000 for a local man, who suffered a serious injury to his hand as the result of an accident at work.  A man in his 20s, was operating a piece of machinery in the course of his job with no safety guard when his hand slipped causing damage to his hand which required urgent hospital treatment and meant he was unable to return to work for a considerable time.

Neil comments: “People are sometimes reluctant to make a claim for an injury incurred at work in case it affects their relationship with their employer.  Often this is an unnecessary concern as responsible employers want their employees to be safe, and if someone is unfortunately injured while doing their job, the employer will not want them to be financially out of pocket while they recover.  Any claim settlement will come from their insurers and not directly from the employer.”
