Neil John, a personal injury claim specialist at Fraser Dawbarns, has obtained a £30,000 settlement for a local client, who was injured in a road traffic collision. The client was the driver of a van which was hit by another vehicle. He has since been suffering from psychological injuries, including anxiety and flashbacks, in addition to physical leg injuries.
Neil says: “One of the few positive side effects of lockdown has been a considerable reduction in the number of road traffic incidents resulting in injury. It is hoped, although not necessarily expected that with many people making permanent changes in their lifestyles and work routines, this reduction may continue. While a personal injury settlement can help to ensure that someone is not financially out of pocket as a result of an incident that was not their fault, and can fund private medical treatment, it can never truly compensate for ongoing pain from injuries of any kind.”
