Over £15,000 obtained for woman whose injuries required plastic surgery

Personal injury specialist Neil John, who heads the Civil Litigation team at Fraser Dawbarns, has successfully settled a claim for a local woman in her 20s who suffered a fall at work, resulting in injuries to her face.

Neil says: “Whatever the nature of someone’s injury, we will always stress the importance of getting the right medical care and, where appropriate, rehabilitation.  Generally, the more serious the injury, the more crucial it is to obtain funding for additional private medical support.  In this case, given the claimants age and the fact that the injuries were to her face, we were able to get her employer’s insurers to agree that privately-funded plastic surgery was the appropriate course of action.”
