Each year Fraser Dawbarns LLP dedicate all their fundraising to a chosen charity. The firm recognise the importance of supporting the community through both donating and raising awareness for a local worthwhile cause. This year, Fraser Dawbarns have donated an outstanding total of £10,664.54 to The Purfleet Trust.

The Purfleet Trust are a charity based in King’s Lynn who are committed to helping local homeless and vulnerable people. You can visit their website here to find out more about the charity and how you can get involved: https://www.purfleettrust.org.uk/

The Purfleet Trust are grateful for the firm’s kindness:

“We are truly overwhelmed by your generosity; these funds have enabled us to purchase a van for our House 2 Home project. The van will have a massive impact, enabling our team to offer a high level of service both to the vulnerable adults we are providing with furniture, and the generous supporters who donate goods.”

The Purfleet trust acknowledged that without furniture and essential household items, a house is not a home. The House 2 Home project ensures that the individuals who have experienced homelessness are provided with such necessities upon moving into their independent tenancy, making this an enjoyable milestone.

Fraser Dawbarns are pleased to know that their donation has been a part in the success of the House 2 Home project. Since purchasing the van 84 furniture collections have been made and a further 34 House2Home packages have been delivered to local clients.

Iain Grimes, Managing Partner says:

“We understand that the money we have donated would be useless without the hard work and kindness of everyone involved at the charity. It has been an absolute pleasure to fundraise for the Purfleet trust this year and see first hand the difference that it can make to the local community.”
