Fraser Dawbarns is delighted to announce that David Green, former head of employment at Charles Russell Speechlys, has joined the firm to spearhead the further growth of its Employment Law Team across Cambridgeshire and Norfolk.

David, who has specialised in employment law for much of his extensive career as a solicitor, has a wide range of expertise supplemented by a particular niche in advising Limited Liability Partnerships (LLPs) and those operating in the charity sector.  He has a further string to his bow as a qualified mediator and has also held the role of HR director to make him uniquely qualified to advise employers. David lives in Downham Market and also holds the position of Chairman of Ely Cathedral Trustees.

David says: “Having recently retired from my long-term role in the City, I’m very much looking forward to using my legal skills to help local and regional businesses with their employment law challenges.  The year ahead is expected to be a tough time for a high proportion of businesses as inflation bites and many people’s disposable income fails to keep pace. For some there will be a fine balance between looking after employees who are struggling financially and taking necessary steps to protect their businesses as the anticipated recession hits.  Getting good, proactive, and commercial legal advice early on about what needs to be done will be important.”

Iain Grimes, Managing Partner at Fraser Dawbarns, adds: “David has a real depth of legal expertise, coupled with a practical commercial approach, which will be hugely beneficial to businesses in the area. We are excited to have him on board and looking forward to introducing him to our clients.”
