Are you being offered a reasonable personal injury claim settlement?

Fraser Dawbarns has recently settled an injury claim for £3,250 for Mr K, who was originally offered £2,000 by his employer’s insurers.

Neil John, who heads the personal injury team at Fraser Dawbarns, explains: “While this is at the smaller end of personal injury claims, anyone who has been injured as a result of an accident that was not entirely their own fault is entitled to be treated appropriately and get the compensation they deserve.  If an insurance company knows that their client is to blame for someone’s injury, they will often make a quick, low, settlement offer in the hope that the injured person will accept it and walk away.  Many law firms that handle personal injury work no longer take on claims that are likely to be worth less than £25,000 but at Fraser Dawbarns we believe that people who have been injured need support to achieve the appropriate compensation. The claim for Mr K fell into this category; he slipped and fell on some spilt liquid in his workplace causing injuries, which fortunately were short term”.
