Neil John is a Member of the firm and Head of the Civil Litigation Department. He advises clients on a wide variety of general civil litigation matters and he specialises in personal injury cases, clinical negligence claims and contentious probate cases. Neil offers a bespoke and personal service that is suited to each particular client’s specific needs.
He is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers and has almost completed the course for membership of the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists (ACTAPS). Neil aims to become an associate member of ACTAPS in the coming academic year.
Neil qualified as a solicitor in October 1999, joining Fraser Dawbarns LLP in 2011 and being made a Member in 2013. Before that he worked for more than 11 years at a large regional firm acting for Trade Union members on predominately Personal Injury and Employment matters.
Between 2001 and 2010 Neil founded and ran the BMF Biker Legal Line offering largely free advice to bikers in East Anglia and the East Midlands.
Outside of work, Neil has been Captain of a golf club 3 times, and was Captain of Tydd St Giles Golf and Country Club in 2015 and 2016. Over those 2 years he raised nearly £7000 for charity and, in 2014, he was part of a team that raised almost £7000 on the MacMillan Longest Golf Day Challenge.
