Charity
Every two years, we choose a charity as our Chosen Charity to which we dedicate all our fundraising activity.
Since starting our Chosen Charity scheme we have supported several local charities across East Cambridgeshire and West Norfolk, as well as nationally recognised charities, including:
- The Purfleet Trust
- East Anglian Air Ambulance
- Cancer Research UK
- Sports Connection Foundation
- SSAFA – The Armed Forces Charity
- The Road Victim's Trust
- Little Miracles
Through a programme of fundraising initiatives spanning East Cambridgeshire, King’s Lynn and the wider Norfolk region, we have raised thousands of pounds for charity, helping to deliver meaningful impact within local communities.
A key highlight of our annual calendar is our Charity Golf Competition. This is an important date in our fundraising calendar for local businesses and others in the Cambridgeshire and Norfolk communities to join us in raising money for fantastic causes. As a result, we have been able to see first-hand the difference donations can make to vulnerable groups in our local community.
At Christmas we also donate money traditionally allocated for corporate gifts to charities who support the homeless community. These include:
- The Purfleet Trust
- The Ferry Project
- Ely Food Bank
- The Cambridge Housing Society Limited
- King's Lynn Food Bank
2026 Chosen Charities
