Nicola Wells

Nicola Wells is an executive assistant based in our Ely office. She has extensive experience in many areas of conveyancing, supporting experienced members in the team, including Kirsty Haines.

Career

Nicola has worked in various aspects of the legal profession since leaving school in 1983. In earlier years, she worked in Newmarket and then several years commuting to Cambridge. She has worked in Conveyancing since 2001. She is now working back in Ely, where she has been working since 2025 with Kirsty Haines in the Residential Conveyancing Team.

Expertise

Nicola works alongside her colleagues to support clients in relation to the following areas:

• Buying and selling of freehold, newbuild and leasehold properties
• Buy-to-let purchases
• Remortgages
• Transfers of equity
• Dealing with registrations at HM Land Registry.

Personal Interests

Outside of work, Nicola enjoys socially with friends and eating out. She also enjoys lots of walking in the countryside and attending horse racing on a regular basis.
