Paralegal

Natasha Galvin is a paralegal in our Employment Law team based at our Ely office.

Natasha specialises in employment law and enjoys the fast-paced nature of this legal area. She takes pride in helping employers with the difficulties they can face in the workplace and ensuring that people are treated fairly and equally. Natasha also has a keen interest in building relationships with employers to become a point of contact before issues arise.

Career

Natasha first joined the legal profession when she was 17, working for two different law firms and gaining residential property experience. She then took a break from law and worked in the NHS for 11 years. During this time, she attended the Open University to study for a psychology degree and ran her own kickboxing business. She moved to Cambridgeshire and joined Fraser Dawbarns in 2019 where she quickly developed a passion for Employment Law. Natasha began her CILEX training in 2021 and is expected to qualify in March 2026.

Natasha has employment experience in the following areas:

  • Creating and updating employment contracts
  • Creating and updating employment policies and staff handbooks
  • Restrictive covenants
  • Advice on conduct, capability and sickness dismissals
  • Redundancies
  • TUPE
  • Progressing an Employment Tribunal claim for both employer or employee and drafting appropriate related documentation
  • Advising on ill health and suitable processes for employers
  • Drafting settlement agreements
  • Advising on family friendly provisions such as maternity and paternity leave.

Personal Interests

Outside of work, Natasha enjoys spending time with her family and her two dogs, Benny the cocker spaniel and Bella the labrador. She also enjoys gaming and board games, particularly mystery and cold-case-style puzzles, and has recently discovered a passion for building Lego dragons. Natasha is also a long-time fan of Warhammer and martial arts, Natasha hopes to return to both in the future.
