Kyle Connor
Kyle Connor is a Solicitor based in our Ely office. He has experience across a broad range of employment law matters and has a particular interest in discrimination, workplace disputes, and advising on settlement agreements.
He works with a wide range of clients including employees seeking advice on workplace issues, and employers requiring support with contracts, policies, and compliance. He has also advised on Employment Tribunal matters for both the employee and employer side.
His approach is friendly, pragmatic, and solution‑focused. He is committed to helping clients understand their options clearly, and to achieving positive, efficient outcomes for his clients. Helping clients navigate stressful workplace situations with confidence is what Kyle enjoys most about his job.
Career
Kyle began his career as a paralegal in a small Lincolnshire firm before being offered a training contract. After completion of the GDL and LPC at the University of Sheffield, he completed the training required to qualify as a solicitor.
After qualifying in July 2023, he moved into a firm which specialised in employment law. He joined the Fraser Dawbarns team in December 2025 as a solicitor specialising in employment law.
Expertise
Kyle has gained employment law experience in the following areas:
- Creating and updating employment contracts
- Creating and updating employment policies and staff handbooks
- Advising on settlement agreements, including negotiating terms (including acting and advocating in a judicial mediation which settled in his client’s favour for a 6-figure sum)
- Acting for employees and employers in the Employment Tribunal
- Advising on discrimination issues and Equality Act matters
- Drafting and reviewing HR documentation for employers
- Providing guidance on workplace disputes
Personal Interests
Outside of work, Kyle enjoys spending time with his family and infant son, as well as snowboarding.
