Jonathan Theobald

Jonny joined Fraser Dawbarns in July 2026 as Finance Director. A commercially focused finance leader, he combines strategic insight with a practical, hands-on approach to improving financial performance, processes and decision-making.

Career

After graduating from the University of East Anglia with a degree in Mathematics, Jonny trained as an ICAEW Chartered Accountant, qualifying as an ACA in 2019.

During his time in practice, he worked across a broad range of clients and industries, with particular experience supporting law firms on SRA accountant's reports and related services. This gave him deep insight into the financial controls, regulatory requirements and commercial challenges specific to the legal sector.

He went on to become Group Head of Finance at SaveMoneyCutCarbon, where he supported the business through financial planning, forecasting, performance reporting and commercial analysis - with a particular focus on building the systems and processes needed to support a fast-scaling business.

• Management reporting, cash-flow management and performance analysis.

Personal Interests

Outside of work, Jonny has a real passion for music - whether playing or listening - and can regularly be found supporting local pubs' band days. Above all, though, he treasures the adventures taken with his wife, son and dog.
