Fiona Thorpe is a Paralegal in our Dispute Resolution department, based in the Wisbech office. She specialises in general litigation, including neighbour and contract disputes, and more recently contentious probate.
Fiona started her career in law at the Open University, studying part-time around her young family. She particularly enjoys the puzzle of figuring out the best course of action in challenging matters and is currently studying to sit her final Solicitors Qualification Exam.
Before joining Fraser Dawbarns, Fiona worked as a magistrate at the Peterborough Criminal Court, as well as a paralegal and trainee solicitor, gaining legal experience at another local firm.
Fiona works with a wide range of clients who can expect her to approach matters with empathy and understanding, especially during challenging times, as well as a good understanding and application of the law.
Outside of work, Fiona loves spending time with her children, keeping fit with strength training, and walking her two dogs. She also likes curling up with a good book.
After an accident at work resulting in an accident, I contacted Neil John who made the claim as straightforward as possible. He took on the case and with his approachable manner was able to answer any questions and advise accordingly. He was friendly and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend his service and Fraser Dawbarns.Client - Wisbech Office
