Emma Hotchin
Emma Hotchin is a trainee solicitor, based at the King’s Lynn office. She is currently working in our Private Client team alongside experienced solicitors Harleen Hanson and Danielle Dennis-Betts.
Career
Emma joined Fraser Dawbarns in 2023, working as a Legal Assistant in the firm’s Commercial Property team before starting her training contract in 2025. Prior to this, Emma worked at another local law firm as a Legal Assistant and Paralegal.
Before embarking on her legal career, Emma obtained a 1st Class Honours degree in Classical Civilisation from the University of Nottingham and then completed her Graduate Diploma in Law the following year at Nottingham Law School. Emma has recently completed her LLM Legal Practice Course with BPP University earning a distinction.
Expertise
Emma is gaining experience in private client in particular in the following areas:
- Will drafting
- Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Estate administration.
Personal Interests
Outside of work Emma is a keen sportswoman, playing hockey for Pelicans Ladies 1st team and regularly taking part in hyrox and running events. When Emma is not playing sports, she enjoys long walks in the countryside accompanied by a tea break and a slice of cake!
