Fraser Dawbarns’ King’s Lynn Big Quiz raises £2,500 for local charities
Fraser Dawbarns hosted its annual Norfolk charity quiz at the King’s Lynn Town Hall on 22 October, raising a total of £2,500, which is being split between Breast of Friends and West Norfolk Autism Group. These are the charities nominated earlier this year by the firm’s teams in their King’s Lynn and Downham Market offices respectively for support from May 2026 to April 2028. The event was kindly hosted this year by the Mayor of King’s Lynn, Councillor Steve Bearshaw.
Ten teams took part and the winning quiz team on the night was Complete Commercial Finance. Harleen Hanson, a partner based in Fraser Dawbarns’ King’s Lynn office, was Quiz Master for the evening and comments:
“This has now become an annual event and has a strong feel-good factor. Local professionals and other individuals come together for a relaxed evening of team quizzing, with greater emphasis on what we can do to raise funds to support local good causes than on who eventually emerges as the winner. We are immensely grateful to all the local businesses and individuals who supplied auction and raffle prizes to help maximise the funds we are able to raise. We look forward to announcing a date for our 2027 King’s Lynn Big Quiz shortly.”
Following the success of the King’s Lynn quiz format, the firm hosted its first Fenland Summer Quiz at Elgoods’ Hop Rooms in Wisbech in July 2026 and will be repeating this event in early July 2027.
