Fraser Dawbarns’ growth plans on target
Fraser Dawbarns’ plans for meaningful growth between now and 2030 are off to a positive start as benchmarking with other firms in the UK reveals that the firm now sits only just outside the top 3.3% of law firms nationally in terms of performance. The firm hopes to make an entry into The Lawyer’s Top 300 law firms when the 2026 table is published next Autumn.
As part of that strategy, the partnership has just re-elected Managing Partner, Iain Grimes, to lead the firm for a further four years after his current term ends. His new term of office will run from May 2026 to April 2030.
The firm has also just substantially refreshed its website, appointed three newly qualified solicitors and two other more senior recruits to its permanent team, and is currently in talks with other senior solicitors who may in due course join the firm.
Iain Grimes comments: “We have set ourselves what we believe to be challenging but achievable targets. King’s Lynn and the surrounding areas are home to many successful and substantial businesses, but some of these still go to the larger cities in the region for legal advice. We would like to change that, giving them the confidence to use a King’s Lynn based firm for all their legal matters. Our aim is to demonstrate that they can get the expertise and support they need on their doorsteps and to provide the consistently high level of service that encourages them to do so. We are already making good inroads in various sectors, not least Agriculture & Rural Enterprise and Renewable Energy. While making growth in the Owner Managed Business sector a goal, we will of course continue to support the many loyal local individuals who come to us for a wide range of advice on Private Wealth, Property and Family matters. Continuing to recruit talented lawyers to add strength and depth to our teams is an important part of that picture.”
