Fraser Dawbarns’ Fenland Summer Quiz raises £1,530 for local charities

Fraser Dawbarns hosted a charity quiz at Elgoods’ Hop Rooms on 1 July, raising a total of £1,530, which is being split between Arthur Rank Hospice Charity and Ravenswood Pet Rescue. These are the charities nominated earlier this year by the firm’s teams in their March and Wisbech offices respectively for support from May 2026 to April 2028. The winning team was 'Only Fools in Hearses' of Turner & Sons Funeral Directors.

This is the first Fenland Summer Quiz hosted by the firm but replicates a format that has been used in the autumn for their King’s Lynn big Quiz for the past two years. In previous years this raised money for Little Miracles but the October 2026 event will support Breast of Friends and West Norfolk Autism Group chosen by the King’s Lynn and Downham Market teams.

Helen Jarvis, who is Chair at Fraser Dawbarns and was Quizmaster for the occasion says: “We were delighted to attract many local teams including professional contacts from both Wisbech and March and also incredibly grateful to the businesses who donated prizes for the raffle. The evening was great fun, in a lovely location, and we hope to be able to repeat it again in the future”.
