Fraser Dawbarns’ charity treasure hunt raises £2,430 for Cambridge and Ely Child Contact Centres

Fraser Dawbarns hosted their annual charity treasure hunt in Ely last night, raising £2,430 for their new local charity of the year, the Cambridge and Ely Child Contact Centres.

The event was attended by 18 teams of clients and fellow professionals from Ely and the surrounding area.  They congregated at The Almonry before going off around the city in search of answers to the clues. The winning team was Whitings LLP, who snatched a narrow victory from their fellow Whitings colleagues who entered a separate team for the event. The evening concluded with a charity raffle and we are incredibly grateful for all the support in the form of raffle prizes received from businesses and individuals in Ely and beyond.

Seema Solanki, a partner at Fraser Dawbarns who heads the firm’s Ely office, said: “Having run this event for the first time in 2025, it was fantastic to be able to attract even more teams this year. The weather was kind to us and a very enjoyable afternoon was had by all, while also raising funds for the Ely and Cambridge Child Contact Centres. We were delighted to be joined by many local professionals and friends to show support for this fantastic charity and the local families it supports.”

The Child Contact Centres provide a place where children from separated families can enjoy contact with a non-resident parent or other family member.  The Centres offer a child-centred atmosphere that helps to build trust and confidence. The Centres are run by a small local charity and are accredited members of the National Association of Child Contact Centres (NACCC).
