Fraser Dawbarns appoints new family law specialist partner
Fraser Dawbarns has appointed a new partner, Emma Stearman, to the business with effect from the start of May 2026. Emma specialises in family law and advises individuals across the King’s Lynn and Wisbech region on a full range of family law matters, from separation and divorce to pre-nuptial and cohabitation agreements.
Emma lives in King’s Lynn and has been part of the team at Fraser Dawbarns for almost 15 years. She was brought up locally, took her A levels at the College of West Anglia, obtained a 2:1 Batchelor of Arts degree from the University of East Anglia and joined the firm shortly afterwards. She qualified as a solicitor in 2016. Since then, she has been a key member of the team and is now being promoted to join the partnership.
Iain Grimes, Fraser Dawbarns’ Managing Partner, said: “As we continue to grow and strengthen our business, it is rewarding to be able to make well-deserved promotions from within Fraser Dawbarns, in addition to recruiting talent from outside the team. Over the past few years Emma has had a positive impact on the lives of many of her clients, while also being a strong team player in terms of the development of our business. We are very much looking forward to having her as a partner in the firm.”
Emma Stearman says: “Having begun and developed my legal career with the firm, I’m delighted to have been asked to join the partnership. Our family law team continues to be recommended by many previous clients, and also by independent reviewers The Legal 500, and we attract many clients to the firm who need legal support at a difficult time in their lives”.
