First Chair for Fraser Dawbarns

Helen Jarvis has been appointed as the firm’s first Chair, from the start of May, following the well-earned retirement of former Senior Partner Tony Barratt.  The firm is adopting the more corporate terminology as it continues to pursue its plans for expansion.

Iain Grimes comments: “We are delighted that Helen agreed to take on the role of Chair. Her experience, expertise and approach to life in a law firm make her ideally suited for this role.  My role as Managing Partner remains unchanged, although the balance between leadership and development of the firm and legal work has shifted gradually as we continue to expand.

Our residential property team goes from strength to strength, including this month the recruitment of Legal Director Nic Sheldrake. As a result, we are able to free up a little more time to focus on the future development of our business alongside the day-to-day needs of our loyal conveyancing clients.”
