Stefanie Summers is a Solicitor and Associate in the Family Law department, based in the Wisbech office. Stefanie’s work covers all areas of law relating to marriage and civil partnership breakdown and particularly issues around arrangements for children including special guardianship. Stefanie works with clients of all ages and from all walks of life.
Stefanie particularly enjoys the diversity of the people she is able to assist as part of her job and helping them through what is usually one of the most stressful, worrying, and emotional times of their lives. Stefanie finds it very satisfying to see the change in a client from who they are when they first come into see her, to the person they have become by the time their matter has concluded.
Stefanie’s clients can expect an empathetic and understanding legal professional who will be supportive and straight talking.
Stefanie studied Law at the University of Lincoln and then studied for her Legal Practice Course (LPC) at the University of Law in Guildford. After gaining her LPC, Stefanie joined Fraser Dawbarns in 2005 to undertake her training contract, qualifying as a Solicitor in August 2007.
Outside work, Stefanie is Chair of Governors for a local school and part of the School Parent Partnership at both her childrens’ schools, Stefanie also sits on the fundraising committee for her son’s football team.
In her spare time, Stefanie enjoys reading. She also enjoys entertaining family and friends and particularly baking, regularly feeding her neighbours! Stefanie is active in the neighbourhood and enjoys organising events and occasions for her neighbourhood, such as the VE Day celebrations.
