Kim Cross is a solicitor in our Civil Litigation Department specialising in dispute resolution, litigation and employment law. Kim joined Fraser Dawbarns LLP in 2009 as a trainee solicitor having previously worked in the book trade and qualified in 2011.
Kim specialises in employment law and advises on a full range of employment and HR issues including employment contracts, employment rights, disciplinary and grievance matters, redundancies, dismissals, discrimination, business restructuring and TUPE. She also advises both employers and employees on Employment Tribunal claims, and has an excellent record for achieving settlements favourable to her clients. Kim is well known for her excellent drafting skills and regularly drafts a variety of employment documentation.
Kim also undertakes general civil litigation work and represents clients in a wide range of matters including commercial and consumer disputes, debt recovery, defamation claims, copyright issues and professional negligence. She is well-liked by her clients for her approachability, plain speaking and pragmatic advice.
She has recently been involved in a case before the High Court concerning the interpretation of a restrictive covenant as against a developer.
