Janet Lane is an experienced solicitor and joined our Civil Litigation Department in 2012. Janet provides straightforward and reliable advice to clients, and specialises in clinical negligence cases, contentious probate, property disputes, boundary disputes, building disputes, contractual disputes, landlord and tenant disputes and possession claims. She is also experienced in representing interested parties in Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards and care funding issues.
Prior to joining Fraser Dawbarns LLP, Janet was a senior partner of a firm in Lincolnshire after moving from Scunthorpe and Hull as joint head of department. Before Janet qualified as a solicitor in 2004 she had worked as a nurse for 23 years.
Janet is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers, and in November 2016 she was appointed a member of the Association of Contentious Trusts and Probate Specialists. She is now a Registered Contentious Trust and Probate Specialist.
Janet attends RAF Marham to provide free legal advice to RAF personnel and also provides free legal advice for WNDIS (West Norfolk Disability Information Service), an organisation providing information, advice and an advocacy service for disabled people and carers.
