Clare Fairfold

Clare is our Operations & Finance Director and has been with Fraser Dawbarns since 2015.  She leads the Business Operations Team, encompassing finance, operations, people and culture, facilities management, health and safety, business development and marketing, IT and compliance. She sits on the firm’s Strategy Board and works closely with the People & Culture Director, Managing Partner and the Business Operations Support Team.

Clare relishes the variety of her role, where no two days are the same and she has the opportunity to engage with all members of the firm. She enjoys making effective use of data to help drive the business forward.

Career

Clare began her career in law firms as a legal secretary in Cambridge in the 1990s. She relocated to City law firm Charles Russell in 1998, and then on to WilmerHale in 2000 where she assisted the Admin Director in overseeing the operational side of the London City Office.

In the early 2000s she remained in London undertaking two consecutive office manager roles, while studying at Birkbeck University and Kaplan.

Having joined Fraser Dawbarns, Clare was Instrumental planning for and launching the firm’s Ely office which was successful from its first year of opening.

Clare has a very wide range of business and financial expertise and acumen including:

• Project management

• Premises management.

Personal Interests

Outside of work, Clare particularly enjoys travelling, and is a regular visitor to Universal Orlando with her daughter.  She is a regular swimmer and otherwise likes to unwind by spending time with family and friends.
