Local Solicitors in Charity Motorcycle Ride
The pair, pictured below second and third from the right, were among approximately 15 riders from businesses in East Anglia who started in Cambridge and rode to Felixstowe via the hospice in a mixture of weather and on a variety of roads.
The day began dry in Cambridge with a sprinkling of rain on the way to Bury St Edmunds. However, the heavens opened on the approach to Felixstowe and rained continuously while the group enjoyed a well earned plate of fish and chips before heading home.
Iain and Neil covered well over 200 miles on the day and the group raised in excess of £1,000 including participation in a charity raffle. The star prize was an AGV Valentino Rossi replica crash helmet kindly donated by GasMoto of Haverhill.
Neil commented after the ride “Iain and I were delighted to be invited by Carl Crame of HSBC to join this charity ride. It was a great opportunity to team up with fellow professionals in East Anglia and raise money for such a worthy cause”
Both riders have confirmed their involvement for a similar event next year, when it is hoped an even larger sum can be raised.
