Charity Black Tie Ball
On Saturday 1 November 2014 Fraser Dawbarns hosted their first Charity Ball at the Dukes Head Hotel in King’s Lynn in aid of East Anglian Air Ambulance. The night included a three course meal, an auction and raffle and finished off with dancing to 80’s band PopGun.
East Anglian Air Ambulance was a very popular choice amongst guests with a surprising number of people who had either used the service themselves or knew someone that had. The Charity celebrates its 15th Anniversary in 2015. During that time it has grown from a small local air ambulance to one of the largest and most efficient services in the UK. The Charity currently operates two aircraft out of Norwich and Cambridge, seven days a week, 365 days a year and to the end of September, the Charity has flown over 1300 times in 2014. The service includes an emergency doctor and critical care paramedic on every shift. This means that East Anglian Air Ambulance are now able to treat the patient at the scene. As of last year the Charity became the first service in England and Wales to carry out emergency missions at night.
Fraser Dawbarns are very proud to support such a wonderful Charity which relies on the support of individuals and companies within East Anglia. Along with the money raised from the annual Fraser Dawbarns’ golf day in the summer, a cheque was presented for the sum of £5,500.
Thank you to everyone who supported the event. Planning for next year’s event has already begun! .
