Personal injury claim specialist Neil John has obtained a £12,500 settlement for a man who was concussed after a shop sign fell on his head in Cambridgeshire. The client also suffered a psychological injury and needing counselling as a result of the incident.
Neil comments: “Everyone who owns business premises will be aware that they are required to ensure that their premises are safe for all who use them. The same applies to keeping passers-by safe if you have outside signage. Unfortunately, on this occasion the signage was no longer fit for purpose and fell, landing on the client’s head and creating what is known as a ‘public liability’ claim.”
