Local Law Firm provides sponsorship contribution towards Family Fun Day

On Saturday 3rd September 2016, Wisbech Town Cricket and Hockey Club held its first Family Fun Day and 3.5K Colour Run to launch and boost their new clubhouse project fund, which has been named ‘The Crocket Project.’

The fun day was open to the whole community and included enjoyable activities for children, live music, craft stalls, and much more. Despite the wet conditions, around 175 runners participated in the fun Colour Run which included getting covered in non-toxic paints whilst running the course.

Fraser Dawbarns were pleased to be able to donate and support this worthwhile cause to enable the Club to be able to start raising funds for their new clubhouse.

In total, the fun day raised over an impressive £3000 for ‘The Crockey Project.’

Natalie Ward, Chairperson of Wisbech Town Hockey Club, said, ‘It means to much that local businesses support us along this journey as it is a very large sum of money we need to raise. We want our club to become more of a community club as we understand that it is vital for the health and well-being of the local people.’
