A new solicitor has joined the litigation team at Fraser Dawbarns LLP, the leading Fenland and West Norfolk firm of solicitors.

Janet replaces Ian Harvey, a well known local lawyer, who left the firm last year to emigrate to New Zealand with his family.

Janet is an experienced litigator. She joins the firm having previously been a partner in a high street firm in North Lincolnshire where she handled a wide range of litigation cases including employment, land and property cases to name but a few

Janet came to the Law after a successful career in nursing that spanned over 20 years. She studied for her degree at Hull University whilst still working as a qualified nurse and completed her legal training in York and Scunthorpe.

Janet’s previous career means she is uniquely qualified to deal with personal injury and clinical disputes.

Steve McGregor, Head of the firm’s Civil Litigation team, said “We were all sad to see Ian and his family emigrate last year but after an exhaustive search we are delighted to have found someone of Janet’s calibre and experience to replace him”.

Steve continued “Janet is a very active networker who in her former role developed a close working relationship with the Hull and Humber Chamber of Commerce. She is looking forward to meeting our local Chamber and getting to know the many employers who are based in West Norfolk”.
