Steve qualified as a Barrister in 1985, before qualifying as a solicitor in
1989. He is a Member and head of our Civil Litigation department and is able
to help clients, both businesses and individuals, with a wide range of issues
including employment, leases and tenancies and health and safety.
Steve is also able to help with matters relating to the licensing of public houses, halls and members clubs, Premises and Personal Licences and the regulation of
the licensed trade generally. He has vast experience in dealing with licensing
panels and committees when representing applicants,
objectors and statutory bodies such as the police
and fire service.
He also has expertise in the new law of gambling
in so far as it concerns premises to be used for
such activity as well as dealing with traditional
forms of bookmaking and betting.
