Iain Grimes is the Head of our Residential Conveyancing department and also a Member of the firm. He is also a Member of the Management Executive and is the firm’s Senior Responsible Officer for our Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS) membership.
Iain carries out all aspects of residential conveyancing work including advising home owners, buy to let investors and plot development for local builders. He provides his clients with clear concise practical advice and prompt responses to their questions. He has also carried out pro bono work and advised a number of charities in West Norfolk.
Prior to joining Fraser Dawbarns LLP in 2008, Iain was a Partner at Ward Gethin Archer in King’s Lynn as Head of the Residential Conveyancing team. Whilst at Ward Gethin Archer he sat on the management committee as well as the quality, IT and marketing committees.
Outside of work, Iain is a volunteer rider/driver and trainer for SERV Norfolk, a charity which delivers blood products to Norfolk hospitals between the hours of 7pm and 7am seven days a week. He gives up 4 nights a month to provide this service, and also provides presentations and raises the much needed funds to allow the service to continue. Iain was also co-founder of the BMF Biker Legal Line which provided a free legal advice line for motorcyclists between 2001 and 2009.
