Daniel Sims joined Fraser Dawbarns in September 2016, starting in the Family Department in Downham Market then moving on to the Private Client and then the Civil department. He has now returned to working in the Family department.
Prior to joining Fraser Dawbarns, he was a full-time student at the University of East Anglia, and graduated with a First in 2015. Whilst at University, he volunteered with the ‘Street Law’ group, which ran sessions with local school classes to introduce them to the law and justice system.
Throughout his time at sixth form and university, he worked part-time as a retail assistant at his local Waitrose store, and completed work experience placements in other solicitors’ firms in Norfolk (Berry and Walton, Spire Solicitors and Metcalfe, Copeman and Pettefar), and in London with the in-house legal teams at ArcelorMittal and the John Lewis Partnership.
Outside of work, he enjoys reading and sight-seeing holidays.
