Generally, there are 4 stages through which you will be guided and advised with the prime aim being to achieve a reasonable settlement at the earliest stage.

 

Fixed Fee Services

 

For ease and simplicity, we have created four packages with fixed prices setting out what we will do for you at each stage. Not only can you then budget for those costs but you are able to better judge, with our advice, at what stage you should seek to settle your claims.

 

You may choose to deal with one step on your own and seek our help with other steps – we are more than happy to work with you on this basis and we believe that our packages will allow you to seek help at whatever stage you choose.

 

The 4 stages are:

 

Step 1 – Disclosure

 

Financial disclosure and negotiation

 

Step 2 – Directions

 

From issue of application to First Directions Appointment

 

Step 3 – FDR

 

Financial Dispute Resolution (FDR) hearing

 

Step 4 – Final

 

Hearing – from FDR to attending a Final hearing

 

Is this fixed price service suitable for you?

 

Generally – yes – if your combined gross assets are valued at no more than £300,000 and your combined income is less than £60,000 per annum gross.

 

Unfortunately, we cannot offer this service if you have foreign assets and in some cases, where there is a family Company or Business Partnership. In those circumstances, we will charge for work done at the hourly rate appropriate to the Fee Earner instructed and we will always give you an initial estimate of costs with updates as the case progresses.

 

We are extremely conscious of the fact that whilst you will want to achieve a fair and reasonable settlement, you will want to do so in the most costs effective way and we believe that our packages can help you achieve this.
